Harry Styles is this year's opening act at the 2021 Grammys, but his new girlfriend, Olivia Wilde, won't be on the red carpet or in the (very small) crowd watching him. Wilde and Styles are actually on different continents right now.
Styles is in Los Angeles for the ceremony, while Wilde is in London with her children and their father, her ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis. Sudeikis is shooting Ted Lasso in England, and Wilde just wrapped work on her film Don't Worry Darling (which Styles is starring in).
Wilde was last photographed jogging in the English city on Friday. But for her 37th birthday on March 10, Wilde was photographed receiving flowers and chocolate delivered to her London home. LaineyGossip speculated they may have been from Styles, who was rehearsing in L.A. for his Grammy performance.
Wilde traveling to support Styles in person at the Grammys likely wasn't feasible for the couple given COVID-19 precautions being taken so the ceremony is safe and general pandemic travel (and quarantine) restrictions.
Styles and Wilde's relationship has been going strong privately for some time now. In February, Entertainment Tonight got an update on their romance and how smitten they are with each other. Styles initially traveled with Wilde to his native England before returning to L.A. for the Grammys.
"Harry and Olivia have been inseparable," ET's source said. "Of course that’s in part because they’ve been in a bubble for their film, but even in the days since it wrapped, they’re still spending all their time together."
