Rachel Zoe suits up in a leopard-print coat as she buys cookies for her family... after revealing her 'bravest boy' Skyler fell 40 feet from a ski lift
She revealed earlier on Monday that her nine-year-old son Skyler had to be rushed to the emergency room after plummeting from a ski lift.
And Rachel Zoe was seen around Aspen, Colorado, later on Monday evening as the crisis appeared to have passed.
The fashion designer, 52, was bundled up in a furry leopard-print coat as she stepped out to buy some cookies for the rest of her family.
Concerned mother: Rachel Zoe, 52, was spotted strolling in Aspen, Colorado, on Monday evening. Earlier in the day she revealed her son Skyler had suffered a serious fall from a ski lift
Zoe's coat reached down to her knees, revealing her flared black slacks and a set of black platform boots.
She appeared to have a black top on underneath her coat, and she matched her ensemble with a leopard-print mask to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The former reality star carried a brown paper shopping bag and let her wavy blonde tresses cascade down her shoulders.

Earlier in the day, Zoe admitted she was 'shattered and numb' after witnessing her son Skyler fall 40 feet from a ski lift on Sunday.
The fashionista revealed her eldest child was rushed to the emergency room via her Instagram Stories.
Sharing a shot of her son from a hospital bed, she took the opportunity to 'remind everyone how fragile life is and how it can turn in a minute.'

Zoe didn't not say where the accident happened, but she was seen in Aspen later on Monday, and earlier this weekend she posted the view from an airplane window which was tagged from Colorado.
She held back on details initially, telling followers: 'The outcome is Sky is doing great and the bravest boy I've ever known but [husband Rodger Berman] and I are shattered and numb but woke up today with gratitude for a miracle that Sky is safe and OK.'
Several hours later, she opened up about the harrowing incident telling followers: 'Sky fell 40 feet from a ski lift yesterday which could have been easily prevented if the operator had stopped the lift when he saw sky wasn't on from the start and @rbermanus screaming to stop the lift.'

Sharing: Though she wasn't ready to share details immediately, later the fashionista told followers how her son fell in what she described as an easily preventable accident
'Needless to say by a miracle and the Ski patrol heroes who quickly put a mat under where they thought he would fall ultimately saved his life or from what could have happened.'
'Sky is in great spirits but sore and banged up a bit but otherwise a brave champion. Mom and Dad scarred for life but Sky wanted to say this,' she said before sharing video of a cheery — but sore — Skyler walking around their hotel room.
'Hi everyone. I'm OK, just sore,' he told people in the clip.
'To show you that I'm OK, I'm gonna stand up — see look, I can stand up — and I can walk. See, I'm totally fine, it's just I'm a little sore and I'm kinda hurting, but I'm fine.'

She finished with another text post, writing how 'grateful' she and husband Rodger, who she also shares seven-year-old son Kaius with, were to see their son do 'the most simple tasks of walking talking and laughing.'
'Truth be told Sky was more brave then [sic] either of us and we continue to just kiss, hug and simply just stare at him until further notice ... hug your babies extra from us today.'
Zoe and Berman have been married since 1998, but didn't start their family until years later, welcoming Skyler in 2011 and Kaius in 2013.
